Bear Paw Weekend

I am one that is all for traditions! Bear Paw weekend is one of those I HAVE to go to every summer. For those of you who don't know what Bear Paw is let me explain. Bear Paw is our towns 3 day carnival. I believe this was the 28th year they have done it. Bear Paw has all the carnival rides, food, and vendors you could imagine for a 25,000 populated town. Every year has a theme and this year was country cowboy/girl themed. It is only appropriate to have a rodeo come during this Bear Paw season! I was especially excited for the rodeo because the last time I went to a rodeo was when I was really little and I remember nothing about it. Let me tell you, the rodeo DID NOT disappoint! Like everyone else, my favorite event was bull riding! It is such a talented sport! Dallan has always wanted to ride a bull but I won't let him unless the bull has no horns. Anyways, so all we really do at Bear Paw is walk around the vendors booths (visit my mom's Dance Dynamics booth and my dad's Fullmer's Painting booth), eat the fair food, ride some rides (Dallan's first time riding a ferris wheel at a carnival!), and watch the parade Saturday morning. All in all it's a good time =) I, of course, had to capture some footage of the weekend! Enjoy!

God's Country

This past weekend Dallan and I went hiking! I havent summited Baldy in about 2 years so spontaneously I said, "We are going ALL the way up to the top this time. Let's go!" So up we went! It took us about an hour and a half up and down the mountain. It was such a beautiful day when we started our trek. We could see a rain storm coming our way so we wanted to beat it. Once we got to the top the rain started pouring down on us! Of course we had to take some photos of us on top so, we endured the rain for some photo shoots! We were drenched on the way down, but dang! I love exercising! I feel so great after!

Here are some photos of our hike this past weekend!

Let Freedom Ring!!!

Oh boy do I love the 4th of July! Not just for all the fun festivities and fireworks (although I do love those too), but for the great blessing it is to be part of this great country! America is beautiful and great and each year I get so excited to be able to be a part of it all.

Here is the link to read the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights:

Birthday's Galore!

Today is the day I have two very special in my life who share birthdays!

Happy Birthday to my dad! He is my rock, my joy, my best friend. He has such a positive outlook on life that I admire and I hope to be like him someday! I could go on and on about how amazing my dad is! I guess you could say I'm a Daddy's girl =) I just love that man so much! Here are some pictures of this crazy, outgoing guy! I love you Dad!

AND a Happy Birthday to my very best friend Alie!! We have been friends since around march 2006... I'm almost positive.. Don't hate me Alie if that's wrong! She was new in town and we were forced to carpool together. And the rest is history! Seriously though, she is so awesome! We read eachothers minds and I can't go a day without talking to her in some kind of technological form!  Instead of posting some pictures of us together... I decided to make her a slide show that is in somewhat chronological form =) (I unfortunately lost some early pictures of us a few years back because my computer crashed...boo!) I love you Alie!
