HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Halloween this year was a lot of fun! I dressed up in two different costumes because last year was kind of a drag!

The first costume was for our ward's Halloween Carnival! Dallan didn't participate with this one but he was a trooper with handling my dorky-ness. This costume was a lot of fun. My dad has some teeth he hadn't opened yet that he let me used and I'm glad he did because it made the whole costume!!

I laugh every time I look at this picture!

My sister was a cowgirl =)

My cousin JaCoy was an old lady! She even had a walker!!! HILARIOUS!

I'm glad Dallan loves me and my dorky self!

My second costume I wore for Trunk-or-Treat! I'm a huge fan of "The Vampire Diaries" and my favorite characters are Katherine and Damon! So Dallan and I went as them and my little sister went as Katherine's doppelganger Elena since we look a lot alike (I know... TV addict/nerd alert). Our teeth didn't quite stay in but the make-up was awesome!

My dad has A LOT of fun with his funky teeth!

I was a little into the Vampire thing...

Katherine and Elena take one... ahhaha

Take two! Much better!

I'm so glad Dallan is a trooper when it comes to my holiday spirit! Love that man!

My mom was a Witch!! She looked AWESOME!

One of my youngest cousins was Sully! He looked so cute

Sully and his twin puppy sisters! I love them to death!

Now it's time to eat some candy and watch Hocus Pocus!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

My FAVORITE Halloween Movies!

Since Halloween is just around the corner... I have been watching A LOT of my favorite Halloween movies. And by Halloween movies, I'm talking MOSTLY family friendly kinds. I don't like horror films like the actual "Halloween" movies or movies like "Scream" and "The Ring"... NO THANK YOU! The 90's girl in me can't resist the cheesy, but oh-so-awesome Disney Channel Original Halloween movies!

Here are some of my favorites:

"Hocus Pocus"- This movie is a MUST watch every year! It's not Halloween if you don't watch it at least once!

"Under Wraps"- Who doesn't love a movie about a love sick mummy?!

"Halloweentown" AND "Halloweentown 2: Kalabar's Revenge" - A city JUST for Halloween creatures and goblins! AWESOME.

"Mom's Got a Date with a Vampire" - Vampires... enough said! (I have a HUGE obsession with them...)

"Twitches"- Tia and Tamera Mowry... c'mon! Who DIDN'T love "Sister, Sister"

"Casper"- A classic friendly ghost story of course!

"The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad"- Specifically the Sleepy Hollow with Ichabod (I'm not a Mr. Toad fan..)

"Ghost Busters"- Who doesn't love to bust out dancing to the theme song?!

"The Haunted Mansion"- Eddie Murphy cracks me up in this one!

"The Little Vampire"- Again, Vampires!

And if you want to watch a semi-scary movie but don't like to get too freaked out like me. I would recommend Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho". BUT make sure it is the ORIGINAL one, not the new version! I'm sure the newest version is COMPLETELY scary!

And for Dallan's sake... I usually watch Van Helsing with him... It's not my favorite though..

The BEST day so far! {Wedding Series}

June 2, 2012 is one of the BEST days of my life so far.

The morning of the wedding I woke up I think around 7 am to shower and to do my make up. I'm not superstitious so, Dallan came over and brought me a bagel and OJ for breakfast! What a sweetheart. My former dance teacher came over to the house to do my hair. She did an AMAZING job! I loved it!

This is a photo from one of my bridal shoots! Isn't that hair do so pretty??

We had to be at the temple at noon to get ready for the sealing. It turns out I didn't eat much of my bagel (bad mistake) and halfway through the sealing I felt like I was going to pass out. At one point I noticed Dallan was tanner than me (definitely not normal) and I was so scared I was going to vomit. But thankfully I got through it without throwing up. We got our congratulations from everyone in the room and I hurried back into the brides room and downed some OJ they had in the room! I felt better after that. Although I wish I could have had a better memory the sealing.. It's a good story to tell.
ADVICE TO FUTURE BRIDES: Always eat ALL of your breakfast OR ELSE!

Afterwards we took a lot of pictures! It's hard to choose just a FEW of my favorites.. So here you go:

I just love my Grandparents so much!

I LOVE this sister picture =)

This photo is my absolute FAVORITE of Dallan and I.

After all the hoopla of pictures, we got changed into normal clothes and Dallan and I were starving. We took the truck and went to eat at the super romantic drive thru of McDonald's! hahahah! I wish I had a picture of that.. It was too funny. After we ate we went to the church house to make sure all the last minute details for the ring ceremony and reception were set up.

My Grandpa officiated the ring ceremony! It was so special and intimate, it was the best! The reception was to follow and it was all so much fun! I'm so thankful for all the love and support we got on our special day! Here are pictures of the ceremony and reception:

I love these two of my Dad and I. We are two peas in a pod! I love that man so much! We are bff's!

Group hug with my bridesmaids (minus Leah, she went home not feeling well), before leaving the reception!

ADVICE TO ALL FUTURE BRIDES: If you have the money for it, hire a videographer! It is fun to look at pictures, but seeing it again in real time is even better! Now if you don't have the money for a videographer (like us!) have some one or more than one person film the events and find somebody you know who can edit some video (I'm sure there are some technological people out there! haha) and ask them do it for you!

My family got our wedding on our video camera and I pieced it all together =) Here it is again just in case you haven't see in on the "Our Story" page of the blog!
