Anniversary Pictures

D and I were lucky enough to have my cousin up in Alaska for a few weeks and she was able to take pictures of him and I for our 2nd anniversary! My goal is to get pictures of us every year or two. And since we haven't had professional pictures done since our wedding, it was time. Family pictures were always important in my family and the walls of our home are filled with them and I would like to keep that tradition going. Even though it's just the two of us right now, I still want pictures even though we may not look too different from a couple years ago.

Photo credit goes to the talented Briar Photography or her Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/briarphotography She is located in California now, so if you're in the area... call her! She works wonders!

As you can imagine, it was hard to pick my favorites so here's a glimpse of just a handful of my favorites! Enjoy!

Life Update!

Caution: Lot of ramblings and in no particular order and I may or may not switch back and forth from topic to topic....

Holy hell... Blogging in the summertime is SO hard for me. I'm so busy with work that when I get home I just want to sit on my butt and do nothing but stare into the abyss (AKA Grey's Anatomy as of late).

In 6 short weeks D and I will be moving across the country to Virginia. This year has FLOWN by and now my anxiety about moving is getting increasingly worse... I'm getting so nervous! Everything is almost set though.. We just bought our tickets to Vegas, we have a place to live in VA (that was probably the most stressful part of this whole thing). All we have to pay for now is the rental van (when we pick it up), our apartment deposit, and then the whole road trip  from Vegas. It's going to be an adventure....

Also, My laptop died... like will not turn on ever again died.. Good thing I backed up my pictures and videos a couple weeks before hand! Now I'm using my Mom's desktop... and let me say, I LOVE DESKTOPS!!! I don't want another laptop, I don't miss mine at all!

I've had this blog for a year at the end of this month! What the heck?! When I first started all I wanted to do was edit videos and all of that (which I do, but haven't posted too many). Then I discovered the blogging world and I got sucked in for awhile... There's all these "big blogs" with lots of followers and I admit, I wanted to be one of those... and then got discouraged because I wasn't gaining many followers. but now I don't care about all that. I have a whopping 40ish followers that I have grown to know and feel like we could be good friends (people probably are going to think I'm nuts.. but whatevs!) via blogging and I like to keep it that way. Sure I'll take more followers but I don't want to make a business out of it like some do. I will button swap when I want, I will follow who I want and I will blog what I want. I don't think I'll ever have a "blogging schedule" or do too many shout outs on twitter because well, I just don't want too. It's not my thing and that's okay!

Now for random pictures from the summer thus far! Sorry for the low quality iphone pictures...

2 Years!!

So I didn't blog at all the month of May.... I don't really have a reason why, I have two blog posts in my drafts, but was too lazy to edit and continue writing. Oh well, in due time!

Now onto better things...

I'VE BEEN MARRIED FOR TWO YEARS TODAY!

What the heck?! How did that happen? I feel like I've been married exactly 2 years but at the same time I feel like I've been with Dallan for a lot longer than that. In a good way of course!  I can't imagine my life with any other person.
Although this hasn't been the best year of marriage for us... I can't wait to start our 3rd year! Marriage is hard you guys, it's no joke! But I wouldn't trade it for anything! I can't imagine not being married to Dallan.

We have so much to look forward too! Moving literally across the country, having our own place again, exploring the country and visiting different states together. I just can't wait!

Happy 2 year anniversary D! I LOVE YOU!!!
